Every Idun piece starts from a custom configuration and is then built based on customers choices. Finished product then goes through a detailed quality inspection to always have the best possible quality.
Built on an ancient principle
Sauna is a sacred place where the ritual of löyly can take place in peace. For generations it has been a place of renewal and stillness for both the body and the mind. At Idun we keep that tradition alive through careful design and materials chosen to last.
Every Idun sauna is built by hand and inspected before it ships. We use sustainably sourced timber that holds its heat without bleeding resin and weathers with the same dignity as the tree it came from. With a Finnish Harvia stove inside, the löyly is perfect.
Efni - Materials
Chosen for purity and stability, with a character that turns elegant over time. Spruce that matures with every ritual, or heat-treated ThermoWood® for a more eco-friendly build.
Hiti - Temperature
Balanced temperatures of 80–100°C, held there by carefully engineered airflow and Harvia's 75 years of building Finnish sauna stoves.
Smíð - Craft
Handcrafted by master builders. The joinery and the grain are chosen with care that comes from generations of woodworking. Nothing leaves the workshop until it passes our quality checks.
Þǫgn - Silence
A quiet space where the noise of the day falls away and you can finally rest. An Idun sauna is one place the outside world does not follow you into.
After a sauna and cold plunge I leave with so much more energy. I have not found anything else that does that so well.
The whole process was smooth from delivery to installation. We chose to install the sauna on our own and we managed it in a weekend with the manual and good instructions. I suggest you think carefully about placement and bring in an electrician to install the electric stove safely. We've been using it almost every day since it arrived, and it has completely changed how we relax at home.
